Plain answers to real questions

No jargon. No sales pitch. Just the things people ask before they decide to reach out.

General

No. A chatbot sits on your website and talks to visitors. I build operators that sit behind your business, reading email, drafting quotes, updating records. They act only when you approve. Completely different thing.
You approve every action. Every email, every price change, every scheduling ping. You can also set plain-English rules: "Auto-approve standard plumbing quotes under $300 in-area, weekdays." Nothing goes out without your say-so.
Agencies charge $5K–$20K minimum and often lock you into their platform or a monthly retainer. I charge flat fees. You own the code, the domain, and all credentials. No lock-in. No "talk to sales."
No. Single project, single invoice. No ongoing obligation. If you want more work later, you're welcome back at repeat-client rates.

Websites

A standard 12-page site is $399, and that price includes the domain name, 3 years of hosting, responsive design, contact form, SEO meta, and one round of revisions. There are no monthly fees, ever.
Yes. You get the raw HTML and CSS files. Any text editor works, Notepad, VS Code, even Google Docs in a pinch. I'll also include a 90-minute troubleshooting call for free if you get stuck.
You can move the site anywhere, another hosting provider, a $5/mo VPS, or a free static host like Netlify or Cloudflare Pages. The files are standard HTML. No proprietary format, no lock-in.
Typically 1–2 weeks depending on complexity. Simple sites (5–7 pages) can be done in 5 business days. I'll give you an estimate before we start.
Every site I build ships with structured data (LocalBusiness schema, Service schema) and conversational copy that AI search engines like ChatGPT and Perplexity favor. Clients are already appearing in ChatGPT search results for their service areas.
I build brochure/front-end sites and service-business sites. For e-commerce with cart and checkout, I'd recommend a specialized platform, but I can build the custom storefront or product pages that sit in front of it.

Automations

Any workflow where data flows between tools automatically. When a lead comes in, the CRM creates a record, the email drafts a quote, the calendar checks availability, and Slack notifies you. One trigger, many actions, zero copy-paste.
Generally no. Once set up, they run until a tool changes its API or your business process changes. If adjustments are needed down the line, I offer reduced-rate maintenance for existing clients.
Not by default. Everything is approval-gated. You can write auto-approve rules, "auto-approve quotes under $300" or "auto-approve emails from known customers", but the default is human review before anything goes out.
Gmail, Outlook, Google Sheets, Excel, Slack, Discord, HubSpot, Zoho CRM, ActiveCampaign, QuickBooks, Trello, Notion, and many more. If it has an API or can export/import CSV and email, it can be wired up.
Simple automations (e.g., lead capture → email → CRM) start at $997. More complex workflows (multi-step with conditional logic and multiple tools) range from $1,500 to $2,500. Always a flat fee, never a monthly retainer.

AI Employee

No. You need to know your business. I handle the wiring. You handle the approvals, same as you'd review an employee's draft before it goes out. The AI is just a tool you control.
With the local option, data never leaves a machine in your building. No cloud, no third-party access, no data leaving your network. With the cloud option, it stays in your account's private environment. I do not have access to your data.
Yes. At any time. The software runs on your hardware or your cloud account. You keep everything, the configuration, the rules, the credentials. I don't hold any keys.
That's exactly why every action requires approval. You review every draft before it sends. If a pattern of errors emerges, I'll adjust the configuration at no charge during the first 30 days.
About 90 minutes for a standard setup connecting email, CRM, and a single workflow. More complex integrations (multi-tool, conditional logic) can take up to 3 hours.
A Mac Mini M-series or any reasonably modern computer works fine. I can help you pick one if you don't have one. Expect to spend $500–$700 on a capable used Mac Mini.
